We provide a teacher developed curriculum exploring the elements of art through various mediums, techniques and studies of master artists which combine for a bit of Art History.

Metropolitan Arts Council presents Open Studios to provide an educational experience to the entire community by inviting the general public to experience the life of local artists at work in the studio environment by giving people the chance to learn about the artistic process as well as sources of artistic inspiration, and a marketing opportunity for the artists.

The CATS Strategy
CATS is an art education program that teaches children the elements of art through exposure to master artists, different genres, a variety of art periods, high quality materials an critiquing sessions.
The CATS curriculum not only advances a child's understanding of art, but increases proficiency in math, science, and communication skills.
